Trout Unlimited pledges to use your gift to fund the specific program you indicated, including up to 10% for general support on gifts above $5,000, in accordance with Board policy.
Trout Unlimited's Headwaters youth program helps foster a respect and love for the natural world. With a national staff of four and through thousands of volunteers, we engage young people across this country in conservation and education projects in rivers and streams around the country. Headwaters programs are taught in an experiential and hands-on manner, which not only makes learning more fun but actually helps kids retain learning better. We believe we have a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on this next generation.
Encompassing a range of programs and projects known as the Stream of Engagement, Headwaters serves children, teenagers and young adults. From the nationally-recognized, science-based Trout in the Classroom and Adopt-a-Trout programs to summer fly fishing camps, leadership summits and college fly fishing clubs, Headwaters involves young people in TU's mission to protect and restore the nation's coldwater resources.
